VIRGINIA PIANO POLICY
Monthly Tuition:
Tuition is $120 per month. Payment must be sent before the 1st of each month via Zelle (847-468-4618). I do not send payment reminders.
This rate will remain the same through 2027. Tuition is not based on attendance. There are no refunds.
Late or Missing Payment:
Payment is due before the 1st of each month to hold your lesson time. If payment is late, please contact me first to ask if a lesson time is available. Once I confirm availability, you may then send the monthly tuition plus a $10 late fee.
Tuition Includes:
48 weekly 30-minute lesson times per year, books and materials, and optional student performances.
Changing Your Weekly Lesson Time:
You may request a different regular weekly lesson time at any time. Please text and I will send current openings.
Health Policy (Please Read Carefully):
To keep the studio safe and healthy for everyone:
No one may enter the studio or waiting area if they have a cough, runny nose, any signs of illness, or if they believe they might be contagious.
Student may call via FaceTime or Messenger at lesson time, or can try to reschedule.
If any of the above is true for me, I may switch lessons to virtual.
Missed Lessons (Make-ups):
Make ups for student abscences are not guaranteed or owed. If you need to schedule a make-up lesson, please use the link below:
Teacher Absences:
If I need to miss a lesson, I will notify you as early as possible.
Practice Expectations:
Students should practice 15 minutes daily on assigned material for steady progress.
Photos:
Photos of our studio activities (without faces) may be used for Virginia Piano media.
Performance photos may include student faces, as performances are public events.
Studio updates:
Studio news and performance information are sent quarterly.
