Monthly Tuition:
Tuition is $120 per month (2026-27 rate). Please send before the 1st of each month via Zelle (847-468-4618). I do not send reminders. Tuition is not attendance based. No refunds.
Late or Missing Payment:
Payment reserves lesson time. If late, please contact me to ask if a lesson time is available. Once I confirm availability, you may then send the monthly tuition plus a $10 (per student) late fee.
When Student Discontinues:
After calendar month is finished, remaining account credit or overpayment (including future unintended auto-payments) is forfeited and not refunded. Please manage payment settings accordingly.
Tuition Includes:
48 weekly 30-minute lesson times per year, books and materials, and optional student performances.
Changing Your Weekly Lesson Time:
You may request a different regular, weekly lesson time at any time. Please text and I will send current openings.
Health Policy:
No one may enter studio or wait area with cough, runny nose, or if they believe they might be contagious. Please call via FaceTime or Messenger at lesson time, or try to reschedule. If these are true for me, I may do virtual.
Missed Lessons (Make-ups):
Make ups for student abscences are not guaranteed or owed. If you need to schedule a make-up, please use the link below:
Teacher Absences:
If I need to miss a lesson, I will notify you as early as possible.
Practice Expectations:
Students should practice 15 minutes daily on assigned material.
Photos:
Photos of studio activities (without faces) may be used for Virginia Piano media. Performance photos include student faces, as performances are public events.
Studio updates:
Studio news and performance information are sent tri-annually.
